AI Horizon Journal – 4th Edition (July 2026)

The fourth edition of AI Horizon Journal is here. It lands at a pivotal moment: the EU AI Act’s final compliance deadline is closing in, and the conversation is shifting from principle to proof. With full obligations for high-risk AI systems taking effect in August 2026, this issue asks one question: what does organisational readiness actually look like, and who is already there?

This edition pairs a new self-assessment tool with reporting from the people closest to implementation: engineers, regulators, founders, and a government ministry treating AI policy as something to shape rather than simply follow.
