About Organisation
Ukrainian National Bar Association (UNBA) is the central body regulating the legal profession in Ukraine, representing over 70,000 advocates. It plays a key role in upholding professional standards, promoting justice, and supporting legal profession across the country.
UNBA actively engages in shaping legal policy and protecting human rights. It has also established a dedicated working group on artificial intelligence regulation, highlighting its commitment to addressing emerging challenges in the legal field.
Involvement
Ukrainian National Bar Association (UNBA) collaborates with the AI Ethics and Integrity International Association (AIEI) to promote the ethical application of Artificial Intelligence in the field of law. UNBA supports efforts to help legal professionals in Ukraine understand the ethical implications of AI, integrate AI tools into their practice, and contribute to development of legal regulation of AI. UNBA will be represented in AIEI’s Legal Committee and actively contribute to AI-related initiatives, including providing legal expertise, organizing events, and partnering with local legal institutions and governmental bodies in Ukraine.
